“Wow i didn't even know this site was here, how are you ken, just for the record ken found the wifes 1955 oldsmobile and looked at it for us , you know the saying don't trust a photo well in our case it was the other way round, ill start from the begining , i was looking at a car on ebay , a 1956 pontiac in california, ken wasn't to far away and i asked him if he could look at it , problem was he could not go till after the auction ended so i took a punt and bid on the car and won it was 8000us , the add said 100% rust free and 100% original and looked great in the photos ,well when ken saw the car it was nothing what the add said so i didn't go ahead with the purchase, so i asked ken to look for us ,had to be mid 50's buick, chev , olds didn't matter we liked all the mid 50's cars but we wanted a good quality driver, anyway i got a call from ken saying he was going to look at a 55 olds , i said do you have any photos , he sent me the ones from the advert , well he went he looked he took some better photos and sent them to us and the rest is history, but what makes the story great is that ken didn't know me from a bar of soap but still put a deposit down for me with his own money till I wired the money to him , we are lucky to have someone there to be our eyes, and would recomend him to anyone buying one of his cars , now that I have seen this site I could remain a poor man also ill add the car was better than driver quality and was featured on classic restos when we took it to the american nationals in queenbeyan last year!
